Is My Child Eligible?

Eligibility and Participation

• Lincoln County elementary school children can be enrolled by a teacher, school counselor, or at the request of a parent or guardian.

• There is no qualification process or cost to enroll. Participation is voluntary and BackPack meals are available to all children.

• Distribution is discreet and handled by the classroom teacher. Each child is assigned a numbered BackPack that is filled and ready to take home on Friday to be returned on Monday.

• The Ruidoso Food 4 Kids BackPack Program is available to any child in the Ruidoso, Capitan, Hondo, and Carrizozo school districts.
